We are here to answer all of your questions about the admissions process and to serve you as you take your first steps toward earning your degree in Christian Ministry. We believe in the call of God on your life and want to do all we can to assist you in achieving your educational goals.

It's Easy to Get Started on Your Vision Degree Program

Vision Bible College - VIU

Once you've completed the admissions process, your first course will be sent to you. You can study by correspondence or online. If you choose to study online, your textbooks will be sent to you along with an online username/password. You'll be provided access to our easy-to-use Vision Online Learning system. With dynamic textbooks, course materials, study guides, and learning resources, your educational experience with Vision will be life-changing.

And don't forget, we're more than just a distance education program. We want to partner with your local church to help your personal and spiritual formation. Although you'll be studying with us, the real-life application of your learning will happen in your local church and community!

The Admissions Process

  1. Contact us to let us know you are interested and request an admission packet via U.S. mail or through e-mail.
  2. Complete the Admissions Application, Professional Reference and Exemption by Evidence Credit Application (where applicable). Submit all with the application fee.
  3. Request transcripts from former educational institutions to be sent directly to Vision International Education Network Headquarters.
  4. The Admissions committee will process your application and admission material and determination will be made regarding your admission.
  5. A proposed program (with all necessary information for the student to decide if Vision is right for them) will be sent. Included will be the financial schedule, enrollment agreement, program planning guide, etc.
  6. The student returns the financial schedule and enrollment agreement with the down payment, along with a request for a mentor (if desired) and submits mentor qualifcations (resume, transcripts, etc.).
  7. The University will forward the first course with a complete program, syllabi, research writing guide, a Friends of the Library program, and any tests required for the course, etc. A mentor will be assigned if requested (unless the student requests one who is approved).
  8. You will be given access to Vision Online. You will also receive a complete list of the requirements for the degree program for which they have applied. As you progress through the program you will receive one course every eight weeks.
Upon the completion of your program and when all of your financial obligations are met, your degree will be granted. You are invited to attend our commencement exercise or have your degree awarded in the most functional manner for you.

* Recognized Colleges and Universities

For purposes of admission and transfer into Vision International University USA, a "recognized college or university" includes schools approved by a U.S. state, or accredited by an accrediting body that is approved either by CHEA, the U.S. Department of Education, or the Australian Qualifications Framework. Institutions outside the United States and Australia must meet comparable standards. Non-Accredited Religious Institutions with which Vision has an explicit articulation agreement may also be considered "recognized".
