Now you can earn an accredited Bachelor's Degree entirely online through Vision's partner institution, Mid-Continent University

Vision International Education Network is proud to announce a new dynamic partnership with Mid-Continent University that allows Vision students to earn a regionally accredited Bachelor's Degree by Distance Education!

Students who have successfully completed the accredited Advanced Diploma of Christian Ministry (90 credit hours) and at least two courses (6 credit hours) from the Bachelor of Ministry Degree Completion Core at Vision International may matriculate directly into a Bachelor of Science in Ministry Degree Completion Program at Mid-Continent University.  The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Ministry at Mid-Continent University may be completed entirely by distance education, though some additional General Education credits may be required if students do not meet the requirements.  General Education credit may be obtained directly through Mid-Continent University .

Mid-Continent University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

MCU General Education Requirements

Courses that Transfer from Vision's Advanced Diploma Program (portion of total 90 hours, 18 hours)

Courses that Transfer from Vision's Fourth Year Bachelor's Completion Core (MCU Credit, 18 hours) (individual case by case basis)

Courses that Students Must Take from MCU (18 hours):

Based on a 25 student per class limit, MCU will offer multiples of the same class.

Required General Education (Vision Students must take MCU Courses, 17 hours):

(Not included in required 36 semester hours of MCU Core Courses)

Note: If you do not have the required General Education courses, you must take from MCU, transfer from accredited college, or take via CLEP

Vision Students will:

  1. Complete the standard accredited Advanced Diploma of Christian Ministry course of study via Vision International College Australia
  2. Complete the Vision New Testament Greek Course (for two additional credits)
  3. Complete the Bachelor's Completion Core via Vision International University to build a portfolio of work for MCU Transfer
  4. Complete an Application for Admission into MCU and have all transcripts (including college credit prior to Vision International) sent to MCU
  5. Compile a portfolio for MCU based on the coursework completed for the Vision Bachelor's Completion Core
  6. Make payment arrangements for MCU tuition
  7. Complete 6 MCU courses via MCU On-line if all the portfolios are accepted, not including required General Education classes.
  8. Complete the MCU Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry.
  9. All General Education course deficiencies will need to be requested so that MCU does not setup classes that are not taken.

Anticipated MCU Tuition and Fees

$7,110.00 tuiton for 18 hours of Web-based Courses not including general education classes (at $395/each) (Must have 42 Upper Level Semester hours according to MCU standards)(If all portfolio credit applies, the student would need to take 18 more hours. We’ve suggested other classes.)
