Greetings in Jesus wonderful name! In this update, we are excited to bring you news from around the globe, spotlighting two new Vision/ITEN schools. A new school has just opened in Liberia, Africa, and we will launch another in Austria in early 2016. Praise the Lord!
Dear Dr. Mills, Dr. DeKoven & Vision Leadership,
First of all, I will like to say thanks a million for your support for the last two and a half years since I came to Liberia to start the Bible college and the Technical Vocational programs. It has been challenging to start such a program in North-Eastern Liberia with all of the challenges in this part of the nation, but God has been faithful and your prayers and support have caused us to make it through to the present. Thank you so much and God bless you! Sometimes I stay away from my family for five to seven months without seeing them, though it’s just an one hour flight. Thank God for their understanding to have accepted that I have come to Liberia.
We launched the school on Saturday October 3rd and started classes on Monday October 5th. Praise be to our God for his faithfulness.
Although there are still challenges, for instance there is a need for chairs and tables for the classes, office desks and computers. We’ve already started and will soon finish the renovation of the second building which will be used for the vocational training programs. We have more people interested in teachers education, Christian education and the technical vocational programs. There are others who are interested in a variety of different programs. We will be starting a vocational training for the community and the Ivorian refugees by the end of November or early December. We need teachers and finances to pay them. We believe God can make a way! Join us in prayer for the support to start this program.
Thanks for your support and God bless you richly.
