Dear Friends of Vision;
Well, it is almost spring and how time does fly. The weather is already starting to change a bit and hope springs eternal. At this writing, I am at Lora and Richard Allison’s house in Houston. I had a great time of ministry at two churches on Sunday, Destiny Church (connected with Dr Cletus Bassey, my dear friend from Nigeria, pastored by Pastor Manny, and Iglesia Cristo es la Fuente, Pastored by Alex and Julie Colon). I am off soon to Oklahoma City, hoping to launch our bible college in Weatherford with Liberty Church and Apostle Scott and Marquita Page. God is good!
I have had some interesting phone calls of late. One is most exciting, one a bit concerning. First, the good news!
Brother Lama has a network of churches and schools in Nepal, over 250 churches in that country alone and 1200 in India and regional nations. He is keen to start Vision in his churches, which could add thousands of students to our growing roles…not much money from there, and lots of translation needed…but what potential to raise leaders and expand the Kingdom of God.
I also met with our German coordinator, Markus Rapp, who is ready to help open schools and programs in Europe, if we could only raise the $3,000 to translate my book, Supernatural Architecture, which would generate the revenue to translate more books and establish our network. This work would provide long term resources to us. Please pray for divine connection.
We continue to be challenged on many fronts, with the following as primary challenges and goals.
We are in the process of working with California to regain our Religious exempt status with them, which will free us to do all God wants in California and beyond, and will not hinder our accreditation efforts.
Provide more resources for our international outreach, especially in Chinese and German, where we have some wonderful opportunities.
Secondly, we must move forward in the expansion of Vision USA. We know that we need to develop local outreach, and a campus program to eventually meet the needs of accreditation for the future. We are estimating that we need $200,000 down to purchase the property we have our eyes on, a property zoned for church and education, and one we could use for generations to come.
As faithful partners with us, please continue to pray for favor.
Again, I want to thank you for your faithful assistance and I want to challenge you to consider becoming a Gideon 300 member. Your gift of $100.00 a month or more, less is ok too, makes a difference…Blessings from the bottom of my heart!
Yours in Christ,
“The Whole Word to the Whole World”
