As you can see from the picture to the left, I am ready to help your Resource Center expand and improve! Let me explain.
After the Lord Jesus brought me into His grace some 33 years ago, I have always had the desire to be in full time ministry. This desire to minister manifested in various forms of service over the years from leading Bible studies for teens and adults, organizing home fellowships within the local church, serving on church boards, and helping the local church with its administrative tasks while working a full time career in business.
I have the joy of friendship with Dr. Stan DeKoven. For over 20 years now I have shared in his burden for Vision International University (VIU) to expand the Kingdom by ministering to God's people through teaching and equipping leaders. After receiving my Bachelors Degree in Theological Studies from VIU in 2004, (pictured below with Dr. DeKoven) I had the blessing of teaching courses for VIU in San Diego, CA. In 2005, Dr. DeKoven asked me to serve on the Board of Regents for VIU, and I humbly accepted with joy and serve VIU in this capacity.
During the past several months the Lord was dealing with my heart in the matter of full-time ministry and joining with VIU. After many discussions with Dr. DeKoven and brothers and sisters in Christ about the call on my heart, clarity from the Lord came to join with VIU as a Missionary to help meet their growing demands in Administration and Operations; and to teach and minister to local Christians as an Instructor for VIU. With peace and joy and a great sense of mission I have come to Ramona, California, in faith, and have begun the work as of September 1st, 2009.
Though Vision is a viable, sustainable ministry, due to its commitment to the nations, providing up to 95% scholarships for student studying in Third World countries and assisting over 4,000 church plants, it presently does not have budget for my position, but does have a need for my humble services in the areas listed above. They are committed to me, and I to them, and together we are committed to the work of the Lord.
